TRADING GUIDE & POLICIES

GENERAL
I will trade for anything from my want lists
Many people find it easy to trade me for CDs I'm looking for
I DO NOT TRADE FOR BLANKS
ALWAYS confirm if I still need an item in case I haven't updated my lists recently
If you contact me first, you send first (until I know you)
Overall quality and any flaws MUST be disclosed in advance
Make sure that everything is packed well to avoid damage
Once we have agreed on a trade, I should receive your part within two weeks
If it takes longer, email and let me know

CDs
My rare CDs are traded on a 1/1 basis with your rare CDs or 1 or 2/1 with regular CDs
Always record using "disc-at-once" (DAO) mode
Do not write upon the actual discs - use envelopes or sticky notes
Do not ship CDs on a spindle - please use envelopes or another way to protect each disc
Discs that are scratched up or covered in "crap" or otherwise compromised will be refused
Please do not put 2 different bands on the same CDR - even if the shows are short.
No CDs that are sourced from mp3 files unless they are high quality & flawless
Tracklistings are VERY IMPORTANT: send by email, on a disc or give me a URL
Please provide any artwork: by email attachment, on a website or on a disc
Look at the information in my listings: audio source, tracklisting, title & what the contents
are (live, B sides, outtakes etc). This is the information I need from you.

DVD & VHS
Everything is traded on a 1/1 basis roughly based upon time
DVD: do not mark on the DVD, use a post-it or write on the disc envelope
DVD: each DVD should be individually protected in a sleeve or envelope
VHS: must use high quality/premium grade, name brand, NEW blank tapes
VHS: Must be recorded in SP (2 hour) mode unless otherwise agreed upon in advance
VHS: Each new tape should be noted with its contents and include the BLANK label

MUSIC VIDEOS (on CDRs or DVDRs)
CDRs: videos must mpeg (mpg) format that Quicktime can play (no exceptions)
DVDRs: can be saved as data mpeg files or as a formatted DVDR for DVD players
No Pop-Up videos, banners or interruptions
Network logo in the lower right-hand corner is acceptable
Videos must be complete and of good quality

MUSIC VIDEOS (on VHS)
Must be recorded in SP (2 hour) mode unless otherwise agreed upon in advance
