Have you or would you let your kids see Rocky: Funny you should ask that question. Last weekend we were at my mom's house and it was on AMC. My son sat in front of the TV transfixed! Haha I asked my husband if we should let him keep watching but when it came time for Whatever Happened to Fay Wray we changed the channel :\ Maybe when he's older :)
What I'm doing these days: I work from home as a medical transcriptionist and take care of my son. We don't travel much except to San Diego to visit family & friends. Hobbies include internet surfing, watching movies, reading, and going to Disneyland (we live 4 miles away).
People from Rocky I've kept in touch with: still good friends with Lisa Allison after 22 years.
Why I first went to Rocky: My best friend Terrie had been and she wanted to take me one night. That was August 1, 1980 and I never looked back--I returned the next night and the following weekend and kept on for 2 years or so. It changed my life!
How I started performing: Um, I dunno, I just wanted to, I guess
Food I ordered after the show: don't recall ordering anything 'cause I never had any cash.
I last performed: in 1982
I last saw Rocky: gawd, I can't remember
Did I buy the Rocky DVD? not yet
My favorite Rocky memories: I remember going over to Lisa's or Art's Friday and Saturday evenings to get ready; going to the show early to "survey" the line; hanging out in the Guild lobby during the "boring parts" (i.e., after Time Warp until Floor Show); switch night at the Guild when I had a little "accident" with my borrowed costume; being introduced to the wonders of sex, drugs, rock 'n' roll, and gender-bending; going to lots of fun parties and even hosting one; sleeping 'til about 1 on Sundays, then going to hang out in Queens Circle; and many more.
