Location: San Diego, CA

Marital Status: Happily married - I got it right the second time

Children: One boy 15, one girl 5 - both intelligent and artistic

Have you or would you let your kids see Rocky: Absolutely. We haven't gotten our son up to the La Paloma yet, but we will. Both kids love watching the video and listening to the soundtrack (more than I do these days).

What I'm doing these days: I'm bringing in bread doing administrative work for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan. At the same time I'm trying to get a career started in the movies. Anyone out there interested in investing money in the next hot, young writer/director/producer, let me know.

People from Rocky I've kept in touch with: Janette Gomez and I have been in touch ever since we left. She is now one of my wife's best friends. I didn't meet Tawnua Bennett through Rocky, but we are now close and are part of the same Renaissance Faire guild. I occasionally see a bunch of people at the movies or coffee houses, but I don't think any of them recognize me.

Why I first went to Rocky: Anyone know Amara Barbe? Well if you do you know that in the 80's she threw some great teen parties. A regular event was going to Rocky and one night I went with. My mother had taken me to see it at a convention when I was eight; we went to a lot of conventions and she wanted me to know what all the costumes were about. At eight, I didn’t get the film, at fourteen I did. I was immediately taken with the film and saw all the symbols that indicated the depths O’Brien was trying to reach. And the audience thing was a lot of fun.

How I started performing: I already loved being on stage and knew I wanted to get up there with these crazy people. So in
my sixteenth year I finally worked my guts up and walked up to Anthony Pearce. After some initial unpleasantness (that we don't talk about anymore) I finally got up as Dr. Scott. I performed at least once a weekend after that for at least a year.

Food I ordered after the show: Rarely went. When I did, I rarely had more than a coke. I was pretty broke and had not started drinking coffee.

Before the reunion, I last performed: in 1989

Before the reunion, I last saw Rocky: July 2002 on video. My daughter begged me to let her watch it again. Curiously enough, I noticed something new: did you know that right after Riff comes breaking into the room during the Floor Show that Janet steps on Brad's foot?

Did I buy the Rocky DVD? Not yet. DVD collection building slowly. But I will.

My favorite Rocky memories: The night everyone was at War and Michael Reed had to pull a cast together out of his ass. The UCSD shows come a close second (I lost a purity test point there).

I started performing at the Ken because it filled a void in my life. It still took me years after my Rocky days to realize the performing arts are where I belong. Now I’m trying to get my career going in the movies - wish me luck. I do believe that my time at Rocky and the friends I made there kept me from going nuts during my teen years. We joke about performing at the Ken and regularly chant never again. But in the dark places of our hearts, we all realize what a great and powerful force it was in our lives. This was how we chose to spend our youth and we became more that a cast, more than a troupe, but maybe less than a family. I thank all of my fellow performers for being my friends and for each lasting memory.
